This was not really a track workout, but I did do some fast stuff on the track. I didn't do a track workout for a combination of several reasons including the heat, the fact that I didn't sleep much, the fact that I didn't feel up to it, etc. I know that sounds like a lot of crappy excuses, and maybe it is, but I've done full workouts the last two weeks, and I don't want to get burned out, so I don't feel bad about it.
What I did do was:
a 400 in 1:19
a 1200 in 3:58
a 400 1:18
They were all just barely under the target pace of 5:20 which I discovered last week. I kind of doubt that I would have hit many more intervals on pace today, but I was happy that I did that many.
After the track stuff I did a few easy miles on the road.
